The RENOVALT project addresses current challenges in the green economy and high value-added skills in the construction sector. The training related to energy renovation offered in the regions concerned is insufficient and does not meet the expectations of professionals. The project aims to develop an integrated offer of work-linked training relating to the energy renovation of buildings. The RENOVALT project sets up two working modules: the first aims to improve the match between the existing training and the demand of professionals through cross-border benchmarking. On the basis of the results obtained thanks to this tool, the second module aims to jointly organise a new offer of work-linked training opportunities in the area studied. The ambition of the partnership is therefore to jointly develop a cross-border work-linked training programme that promotes the integration of renovation markets for companies in the study area, while increasing the fluidity and mobility of learners and workers who are trained in training centres. Finally, particular attention is paid to the cross-border recognition of skills acquired in order to ensure the sustainability of the project's actions. (English)
