    1. Our project contributes to improvement of neighbourly relations between border communities educational and public institutions, civil society, also people to people contacts. We aim to improved general understanding of the public on cultural and natural richness of the Peipsi/Chudskoe region; and importance of preserving it. Project joint activities would bring in long term for grater attractiveness and wellbeing in the area. We want to make people to acknowledge richness of our common territory of Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe region –by learning through innovative, interactive, jointly developed methodologies and awareness activities. When people are aware of the uniqueness and richness of cultural and natural heritage of their home region, they have higher motivation to preserve and promote it. 2. The project will benefit from knowledge and practice of formal and informal educational institutions (universities, schools and NGOs of Tartu and Põlva county; Pskov region). 3. Our new methodological approach has focus to relationship and interactions between natural, cultural and human systems; and developing better understanding of the close neighbourhood around us; and know how to protect and preserve our common cultural and natural richness. 4. Activity packages include: - joint methodology development - educational programs in the filed of joint natural and cultural heritage (Lake Peipsi environmental issues, cultures and languages around the lake); - interactive, innovative learning; joint programs for pupils in the filed of joint natural and cultural heritage (joint research works; outdoor program, summer and winter schools). Joint learning program helps also for Estonian and Russian language learning and practices; - exchange of knowledge about neighbour state educational systems (study tours, meetings with other stakeholders); info on study possibilities for young people and professionals; - improvement of technical possibilities to implement innovative digital learning is schools; set up of Science laboratories in schools; - improvement of neighbourly relations between Programme area formal and non formal educational institutions, municipal organisations, also people to people personal contacts - awareness of cultural and natural heritage of the region on wider level (Lake Peipsi/Chudskoe heritage days, print of materials) and importance of it. 5.Main reason for cooperation: -to develop common understanding of main cultural and natural heritage richness areas in Southern part on Lake Peipsi-Pskovskoe region; on the ways how to introduce it to the pupils but also to adults -to improve cross border network of formal and informal educational institutes; to advance innovative methods that attract young people and adults and provide knowledge and skills for preservation of natural and cultural richness of the region -to improve inter-cultural communication skills of teachers and linguistic proficiency -to dissemination of project results to other interested organisations; to the wider Programme area; to inform general public about importance of preserving our common heritage. 6. Following results will be achieved: -Improved good neighbourly relations between border communities educational institutions, civil society and public institutions; also improved language skills between students and teachers and their family members. -Common understanding /methodological materials of main cultural and natural heritage richness of Lake Peipsi-Pskvoskoe region; also on the ways how to introduce it to people -Improved skills of teachers, educators to use new technology, inclusive teaching methods, students focused learning . -Improved knowledge, opportunities and motivation for students to use communication tools and create contacts on the international level; introduction of new and innovative learning methods, new technologies will ensure that pupils are well prepared and competitive for further education / employment opportunities. Sustainability of project resulst maintained through improved skills and contact, developed materials and purchased equipment. In total appr. 600 pupils adn school teachers; specialists from 4 CSOs& 2 universities will be involved directly. (English)
