    The main aim the project is to improve the image of the textile industry sector and to increase competitiveness of local producers that will create preconditions for sustainable development of the cross-border region. The project will influence the local communities regarding industry perception and improve industry image by raising awareness towards usage of regional brands and products. The project will try to build strong partnerships and develop high quality supply chains based on trust and common understanding. Additional project benefit is the contribution to the economic development by increasing company competitiveness on international markets add values on their products. Activities that will be realized throw the implementation of the project are: Creating Vision of the Region; Developing a Regional Positioning Strategy; Developing the region as a brand; Get the local government, business sector and community involved in the industry strengthening; Communicate the region as a brand; and Approaching international target markets. Working meetings and workshops will be organized in order to define the vision of the textile industry in the region, develop positioning strategy and communication plan that will get local governments, business and community from the region to by in and further participate in the economical strengthening of the region and its competitiveness. By using the service design approach, the project will do proper planning, organizing companies and develops good communication components among supply chain stakeholders that will improve its image, emphasize the quality of the products and the interaction between the production companies and the community. Through the activities the project will intensify the cross-border cooperation between the business sector, local governmental institutions and communities and will bring them together on a united front to jointly discuss common issues in the textile and apparel industry sector and address challenges that need to be overcome in order to increase competitiveness of the sector in the cross-border region. The developed vision of the region, positioning strategy as well as activities aimed to improve industry image and bring it closer to European companies and gain trust among partners can be easily replicated by other regions. Project activities, developed documents and gained good practices raise awareness of companies about working principles and will further include companies from the sector. The established contact between companies of both countries, part of different supply chains, will enable them to improve their knowledge and exchange experience and know-how in developing their own product (brand) and positioning themselves as a reliable partner. Developed document will present long term activities and provide direction to companies how to act on the market in future in order to strengthen their position. (English)
