The overall objective of PAN is a growing attraction and awareness of arctic nature and its unique phenomena in tourism market. This would result in an increasing number of tourists, higher income in the local economy, and better employment rate in the tourism sector along the northern most part of Green Belt of Fennoscandia. The concrete outputs of the project include permanent exhibitions in nature centres, nature observation bases, and audio-visual shows. Target groups are tourism entrepreneurs, tourists, pupils, students and local people in the Barents area in Russia, Norway and Finland. (English)
