    THE PROJECT AIMS TO DEVELOP INNOVATIVE COMPOSITE AND HYBRID MATERIALS (COMPOSITE-METAL OR COMPOSITE-CERAMIC) THROUGH INNOVATIVE AND ADVANCED PROCESSES SUCH AS L — ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING (AM). THESE MATERIALS ARE USED IN HIGH PERFORMANCE AREAS SUCH AS AERONAUTICS, AUTOMOTIVE, HIGH-SPEED TRANSPORT. THEY AIM TO INCREASE PERFORMANCE AND REDUCE WEIGHTS IN A SUSTAINABILITY PERSPECTIVE OF THE FINAL PRODUCT. AM TECHNOLOGY ITSELF IS CHARACTERISED BY ALMOST ZERO MACHINING MATERIAL WASTE FOR METAL POWDERS WHILE FOR COMPOSITES THEY ARE EVEN NON-EXISTENT. THE AIM IS TO DEVELOP NEW MATERIALS BOTH IN COMPOSITE AND HYBRID FORM FOR THEIR USE IN HIGH DEMANDING SECTORS SUCH AS ADVANCED MECHANICS AND AERONAUTICAL. IN ADDITION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF AM PROCESSES FOR COMPOSITES, THE STUDY WILL BE ADDRESSED IN THE PROCESS PHASE BOTH POST PROCESS TO DEVELOP JOINT PROCEDURES BETWEEN MATERIALS WITH STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES (English)

CES MATÉRIAUX SONT UTILISÉS DANS DES DOMAINES DE HAUTE PERFORMANCE TELS QUE L’AÉRONAUTIQUE, L’AUTOMOBILE, LE TRANSPORT À GRANDE VITESSE. ILS VISENT À AUGMENTER LES PERFORMANCES ET À RÉDUIRE LE POIDS DANS UNE PERSPECTIVE DE DURABILITÉ DU PRODUIT FINAL. LA TECHNOLOGIE AM SE CARACTÉRISE PAR UNE QUASI-ZÉRO DES DÉCHETS DE MATÉRIAUX D’USINAGE POUR LES POUDRES MÉTALLIQUES, TANDIS QUE POUR LES COMPOSITES, ILS SONT MÊME INEXISTANTS. L’OBJECTIF EST DE DÉVELOPPER DE NOUVEAUX MATÉRIAUX TANT SOUS FORME COMPOSITE QUE HYBRIDE POUR LEUR UTILISATION DANS DES SECTEURS EXIGEANTS TELS QUE LA MÉCANIQUE AVANCÉE ET L’AÉRONAUTIQUE. EN PLUS DE L’ÉLABORATION DE PROCESSUS D’AM POUR LES COMPOSITES, L’ÉTUDE SERA ABORDÉE AU COURS DE LA PHASE DE PROCESSUS À LA FOIS POST-PROCESSUS AFIN D’ÉLABORER DES PROCÉDURES CONJOINTES ENTRE DES MATÉRIAUX AYANT UNE STRUCTURE ET DES PROPRIÉTÉS (French)
