Valstybės įmonė Klaipėdos valstybinio jūrų uosto direkcija (toliau - KVJUD) teikia viešąsias paslaugas eksploatuodama Klaipėdos valstybinį jūrų uostą ir valdydama uoste esančius valstybei nuosavybės teise priklausančius objektus. KVJUD atlieka Lietuvos Respublikos Klaipėdos valstybinio jūrų uosto įstatyme numatytas funkcijas, siekdama pridėtinės vertės valstybei augimo, tinkamai eksploatuojant ir plėtojant uosto infrastruktūrą, ir vykdo kitą veiklą, siekdama tenkinti viešuosius interesus. Esama Klaipėdos uosto įplaukos infrastruktūra užtikrina, kad ramaus oro sąlygomis uosto įplaukos kanalo techniniai parametrai yra tinkami visiems laivams saugiai įplaukti į uostą. Tačiau esant didesniam bangavimui (> 1,0 m aukščio bangoms), laivų įplaukimui į uostą yra taikomi apribojimai. Vadovaudamasis uosto laivybos taisyklėmis, uosto kapitonas priima sprendimą dėl ilgesnių nei 200 m. ilgio laivų įplaukimo į uostą. Tokiais ribojimais siekiama užtikrinti laivybos saugumą. Bangavimui įplaukos kanale, kuris sudaro nesaugias sąlygas į uostą įplaukti ilgesniems nei 250 m laivams, įtakos turi esamos bangolaužių techninės charakteristikos, t. y. nepakankamas bangolaužių aukštis. Dėl didžiųjų laivų, kurių skaičius uoste yra didėjantis, ilgėja eismo ribojimo laikas, ir tai atitinkamai ilgina visos krovinių logistikos grandinės laiką ir laivų generuojamą oro taršą. Projekto tikslas – pagerinti jūrų transporto eismo sąlygas Klaipėdos valstybiniame jūrų uoste taip didinant uosto pralaidumą ir mažinant krovinių gabenimo laiko sąnaudas (kelionės kaštus) bei oro taršą. Projekto uždavinys – sumažinti bangavimo poveikį laivų judėjimui uosto akvatorijoje, taip sumažinant laivybos apribojimus ir padidinant laivybos saugumą. Projekto metu įgyvendinama veikla - šiaurinio ir pietinio Klaipėdos valstybinio jūrų uosto bangolaužių rekonstravimas. (Lithuanian)

The State Enterprise Klaipėda State Seaport Authority (KVJUD) provides public services through the operation of the Klaipėda State Seaport and the management of state-owned objects in the port. KVJUD performs the functions provided for in the Law on Klaipėda State Seaport of the Republic of Lithuania in order to generate added value for the State through proper operation and development of port infrastructure, and carries out other activities in order to serve the public interest. The existing inflow infrastructure of the Klaipėda port ensures that the technical parameters of the port’s revenue channel are suitable for safe access to the port for all ships in a calm air environment. However, in the case of higher waves (> 1.0 m high), vessels are subject to restrictions on access to port. In accordance with the port shipping rules, the master of the port shall decide on the entry into port of ships of more than 200 metres in length. The purpose of such restrictions is to ensure maritime safety. Waves on the channel, which provide unsafe access for vessels over 250 m in length, are affected by the current technical characteristics of the wave breakers, i.e. insufficient wave height. The increasing number of large vessels in the port leads to an increase in the time-limitation of traffic, which leads to a corresponding increase in the time of the entire freight logistics chain and the air pollution generated by ships. The aim of the project is to improve maritime traffic conditions at Klaipėda State Seaport, thus increasing port capacity and reducing freight time costs (travel costs) and air pollution. The objective of the project is to reduce the impact of swelling on the movement of ships in the port area, thus reducing shipping constraints and increasing maritime safety. During the project activities are implemented — reconstruction of wavebreakers of the northern and southern Klaipėda State Seaport. (English)
