    THE PROJECT INTEGRATES SEVERAL SIMULATION TOOLS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS THROUGH DIGITAL DESIGN. THROUGH TOPOLOGICAL OPTIMISATION, WE INTEND TO EXTEND THE USE OF VIRTUAL PROTOTYPING FROM THE PRELIMINARY DESIGN PHASE TO THEN PROGRESS IN THE EXECUTIVE DESIGN THROUGH DIGITAL DESIGN AND ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING, INTEGRATING CAD MODELING TECHNIQUES, MULTI-PHYSICAL SIMULATIONS ON THE PRODUCT AND MANUFACTURING PROCESSES (PRE AND POST PROCESSING, GEOMETRIC AND DIMENSIONAL CHECKS) AND DATA VISUALISATION. THROUGH THE COLLABORATION WITH L’INFN THE METHODS DEVELOPED WILL BE APPLIED AND VALIDATED TO THE PROJECT OF HEAT EXCHANGERS WITH HIGH ADDED VALUE, BY TYPE OF MATERIALS AND FIELDS OF PERFORMANCE.
