L¿UTENTE SARà GUIDATO VERSO UNA RIDUZIONE DEI CONSUMI E DELLA SPESA, INCENTIVANDO UN USO CONSAPEVOLE DELL¿ENERGIA. IL SOFTWARE HA LO SCOPO DI FACILITARE L¿INGRESSO DEGLI UTENTI DOMESTICI NEL MONDO DEL DEMAND RESPONSE (DR) PER LA GESTIONE FLESSIBILE DELLA RICHIESTA DI ENERGIA ELETTRICA. IL SISTEMA RICONOSCE L¿UTENTE COME UN "NODO INTELLIGENTE" DELLA RETE, IN GRADO DI INFLUENZARE LE DINAMICHE DEL SISTEMA ELETTRICO NEL SUO COMPLESSO E DI RECEPIRE I VANTAGGI DERIVANTI DALL'ADOZIONE DELLO STRUMENTO.     THE AIM OF THE PROJECT IS TO DEVELOP A NEW SOFTWARE, CALLED DSPLANET, TO SUPPORT USERS IN CHOOSING THE BEST ENERGY OFFERS. THE SYSTEM, THROUGH DECISION SUPPORT LOGIC, WILL ALLOW THE USER TO MODEL HIS OWN ENERGY BEHAVIOR BY INSERTING THE DATA REQUIRED BY THE INTELLIGENT PROCESSING SYSTEM THROUGH A WEB INTERFACE. THE USER WILL BE GUIDED TOWARDS A REDUCTION IN CONSUMPTION AND SPENDING, ENCOURAGING A CONSCIOUS USE OF ENERGY. THE SOFTWARE AIMS TO FACILITATE THE ENTRY OF DOMESTIC USERS INTO THE WORLD OF DEMAND RESPONSE (DR) FOR THE FLEXIBLE MANAGEMENT OF ELECTRICITY DEMAND. THE SYSTEM RECOGNISES THE USER AS AN “INTELLIGENT NODE” OF THE GRID, ABLE TO INFLUENCE THE DYNAMICS OF THE ELECTRICITY SYSTEM AS A WHOLE AND TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ADVANTAGES OF ADOPTING THE INSTRUMENT.
