Czynna ochrony kulika wielkiego zostały zapoczątkowane przez Towarzystwo Przyrodnicze "Bocian". W latach 2013-2015 Towarzystwo realizowało projekt POIS.05.01.00-00-380/12 "Ochrona kulika wielkiego w kluczowych ostojach gatunku w Polsce", który był współfinansowany ze środków UE (POIŚ), NFOŚiGW oraz WFOŚiGW w Warszawie. W ramach projektu inwentaryzację gatunku przeprowadzono w 18 ostojach gatunku, czynną ochroną objęto 107 lęgów w dolinie Noteci, Dolinie Dolnego Bugu, dolinie Liwca, Dolinach Omulwi i Płodownicy oraz w Ostoi Kurpiowskiej. Ważnym elementem projektu było opracowanie Krajowego Planu Ochrony Kulika Wielkiego. Projekt pt. „Realizacja Krajowego Planu Ochrony Kulika Wielkiego - etap I”, jest kontynuacją i rozwinięciem działań realizowanych w latach 2013-2015, a jego głównym celem będzie realizacja Krajowego Planu Ochrony, w szczególności czynnej ochrony lęgów kulika wielkiego w najważniejszych ostojach gatunku (9 obszarów, 12 ostoi Natura 2000), które łącznie skupiają ponad 70% (>170 par lęgowych) krajowej populacji szacowanej na ok 250 par. Projekt w sposób kompleksowy podchodzi do zagadnienia ochrony gatunku, tzn. zaplanowano realizację działań z zakresu czynnej ochrony – (w ostojach o największej koncentracji par lęgowych w Polsce), edukację społeczeństwa, w tym promocję wśród rolników dedykowanego kulikowi wielkiemu pakietu Krajowego Programu Rolnośrodowiskowo-Klimatycznego oraz telemetrię GPS, której celem będzie zwiększenie wiedzy o krajowej populacji gatunku (przeżywalność, przywiązanie do stanowisk lęgowych, trasy migracji, miejsca zimowania). Obszar realizacji projektu przedstawiono na mapach, stanowiących załącznik do wniosku o dofinansowanie. (Polish)

The active protection of the big ball was initiated by the Stork Nature Society. In the years 2013-2015 the Society implemented the POIS.05.01.00-00-380/12 project “Protection of big balls in key habitats of the species in Poland”, which was co-financed by EU funds (POIŚ), NFOŚiGW and WFOŚiGW in Warsaw. As part of the project, the species inventory was carried out in 18 sites of the species, active protection covered 107 breeding sites in Noteci Valley, Lower Bug Valley, Liwiec Valley, Omulwi Valley and Płodówka Valley and in Kurpiowska Ostoa. An important element of the project was the preparation of the National Plan for the Protection of the Great Ball. Project titled “Implementation of the National Plan for the Conservation of the Great Ball – Stage I”, is a continuation and development of activities carried out in the years 2013-2015, and its main objective will be the implementation of the National Conservation Plan, in particular the active protection of large-ball breeding in the most important habitats of the species (9 sites, 12 Natura 2000 sites), which together account for more than 70 % (>170 breeding pairs) of the national population estimated at about 250 pairs. The project takes a comprehensive approach to the issue of conservation of species, i.e. the implementation of active conservation activities (in the sites with the highest concentration of breeding pairs in Poland), education of society, including promotion among farmers dedicated to Kulik’s great package of the National Agri-Climatic Programme and GPS telemetry, which will aim to increase knowledge about the national population of the species (survivability, attachment to breeding sites, migration routes, wintering sites). La protection active du grand ballon a été initiée par la Stocian Natural Society. Dans les années 2013-2015, la Société a mis en œuvre le projet POIS.05.01.00-00-380/12 «Protection de la grosse boule dans des endroits clés de l’espèce en Pologne», qui a été cofinancé par des fonds de l’UE (OPIŚ), NFOŚiGW et WFOŚiGW à Varsovie. Dans le cadre du projet, l’inventaire de l’espèce a été réalisé dans 18 abris de l’espèce, 107 sites de reproduction ont été activement protégés dans la vallée de Noteci, la basse vallée du Bug, la vallée du Liwiec, la vallée de l’Omulwi et la vallée de Płodówka, et à Ostoa Kurpiowska. Un élément important du projet a été l’élaboration du Plan national pour la protection du Grand Kulik. Projet: «Mise en œuvre du Plan National pour la Protection de Kulika Wielkie — Phase I», est une poursuite et développe des activités menées dans la période 2013-2015, et son objectif principal sera la mise en œuvre du Plan National de Conservation, en particulier la protection active de la nidification à grosses boules dans les sites les plus importants de l’espèce (9 sites, 12 zones de Natura 2000), qui représentent ensemble plus de 70 % (> 170 couples reproducteurs) de la population nationale estimée à environ 250 couples. Le projet aborde la question de la protection des espèces d’une manière globale, c’est-à-dire que des mesures de protection active sont prévues (dans les centres où la concentration de couples reproducteurs est la plus élevée en Pologne), l’éducation de la société, y compris la promotion auprès des agriculteurs du grand ensemble du programme national Agri-Climatic et de la télémétrie GPS, qui visera à accroître la connaissance de la population nationale de l’espèce (permanence, attachement aux positions de reproduction, voies migratoires, sites d’hivernage). Der aktive Schutz des großen Balls wurde von der Stocian Natural Society initiiert. In den Jahren 2013-2015 führte die Gesellschaft das Projekt POIS.05.01.00-00-380/12 „Schutz des großen Balls an wichtigen Orten der Art in Polen“ durch, das aus EU-Mitteln (OPIŚ), NFOŚiGW und WFOŚiGW in Warschau kofinanziert wurde. Im Rahmen des Projekts wurde das Verzeichnis der Art in 18 Tierheimen durchgeführt, 107 Brutstätten wurden aktiv im Noteci-Tal, im unteren Bugtal, im Liwiec-Tal, im Omulwi-Tal und im Płodówka-Tal und in Ostoa Kurpiowska geschützt. Ein wichtiges Element des Projekts war die Entwicklung des Nationalen Plans zum Schutz der Großen Kulik. Projekt: „Umsetzung des Nationalen Plans zum Schutz von Kulika Wielkie – Stufe I“ ist eine Fortsetzung und Weiterentwicklung der im Zeitraum 2013-2015 durchgeführten Tätigkeiten, und sein Hauptziel wird die Umsetzung des Nationalen Erhaltungsplans sein, insbesondere der aktive Schutz von Großkugeln in den wichtigsten Gebieten der Arten (9 Gebiete, 12 Natura-2000-Gebiete), die zusammen mehr als 70 % (>170 Zuchtpaare) der auf etwa 250 Paare geschätzten nationalen Population ausmachen. Das Projekt befasst sich mit dem Thema Artenschutz umfassend, d. h. aktive Schutzmaßnahmen sind geplant – (in den Zentren mit der höchsten Konzentration von Zuchtpaaren in Polen), Bildung der Gesellschaft, einschließlich der Förderung des großen Pakets des nationalen Agrar-Klimatischen Programms und GPS-Telemetrie, das darauf abzielt, die Kenntnisse über die nationale Population der Arten zu verbessern (Dauerhaftigkeit, Bindung an Zuchtpositionen, Migrationsrouten, Überwinterungsorte). De actieve bescherming van de grote bal werd geïnitieerd door de Stocian Natural Society. In de jaren 2013-2015 voerde de Vereniging het project POIS.05.01.00-00-380/12 „Bescherming van de grote bal op belangrijke locaties van de soort in Polen” uit, dat werd medegefinancierd door EU-fondsen (OPIŚ), NFOŚiGW en WFOŚiGW in Warschau. In het kader van het project werd de inventaris van de soorten uitgevoerd in 18 schuilplaatsen van de soort, 107 broedplaatsen werden actief beschermd in de Noteci-vallei, de onderste Bugvallei, de Liwiec-vallei, de Omulwi-vallei en de Płodówka-vallei, en in Ostoa Kurpiowska. Een belangrijk onderdeel van het project was de ontwikkeling van het Nationaal Plan voor de Bescherming van de Grote Kulik. Project: „Uitvoering van het nationaal plan voor de bescherming van Kulika Wielkie — fase I” is een voortzetting en ontwikkeling van de activiteiten die in de periode 2013-2015 zijn uitgevoerd, en de belangrijkste doelstelling ervan is de uitvoering van het nationaal instandhoudingsplan, met name de actieve bescherming van grote kogels in de belangrijkste gebieden van de soorten (9 gebieden, 12 Natura 2000-gebieden), die samen goed zijn voor meer dan 70 % (>170 broedparen) van de nationale populatie, geschat op ongeveer 250 paar. Het project behandelt de kwestie van de bescherming van soorten op een alomvattende manier, d.w.z. actieve beschermingsmaatregelen zijn gepland — (in de centra met de hoogste concentratie van broedparen in Polen), onderwijs in de samenleving, met inbegrip van de promotie onder landbouwers van het grote pakket van het nationale agro-klimatische programma en GPS-telemetrie, die tot doel hebben de kennis over de nationale populatie van de soorten te vergroten (permanentheid, gehechtheid aan broedposities, migratieroutes, overwinteringslocaties).
