Dans le cadre de la loi NOTRé, la région Guadeloupe a vu ses compétences renforcées dans le domaine du transport non urbain. Aujourd'hui, elle souhaite relancer un réseau de transport public d'intérêt régional, marquant ainsi sa prise de compétence dans le domaine du transport interurbain avec un service performant pour la population. Le projet se décompose en deux phases principales, elles-mêmes constituées de plusieurs étapes. La première phase permettra d'évaluer les besoins en équipement de billetique et d'information aux voyageurs et en connexion avec les services urbains et pôles envisagés par le syndicat mixte des transports dans le cadre de son réseau. Under the NOTRé Act, the Guadeloupe region has been strengthened in the field of non-urban transport. Today, it wishes to relaunch a public transport network of regional interest, thus marking its acquisition of competence in the field of intercity transport with an efficient service for the population. The project is divided into two main phases, consisting of several stages. The first phase will assess the needs for ticketing and passenger information equipment and in connection with the urban services and hubs envisaged by the Joint Transport Union as part of its network.
