Hankkeessa tehdään esiselvitys Kainuussa ikäihmisten asumis- ja hoivapalveluja tarjoavien yksityisen sektorin toimijoiden teknologiatarpeista sekä kartoitetaan tarpeiden mukaiset teknologiatuottajat ja kouluttajat. Selvitys tukee alan uudistumista, kustannustehokkuutta ja kilpailukykyä sekä asiakkaiden että ammattitaitoisen työvoiman suhteen. Se edistää myös alueellisten hoivapalvelujen ja teknologiapalveluiden tuottajien keskinäistä verkottumista. Selvityksen aikana muodostetaan lisäksi kansainvälinen Pohjoisen-Euroopan harvaan asuttujen alueiden asumis- ja hoivapalvelujen tuottajien vertaiskokemusten ja asiantuntemuksen verkosto teknologioiden alalle. The project will conduct a preliminary study of the technology needs of private sector operators providing housing and care services for older people in Kainuu and will identify technology producers and trainers that meet their needs. The study supports the sector’s renewal, cost-effectiveness and competitiveness in terms of both customers and skilled labour. It will also promote networking between regional care and technology providers. An international network of peer-to-peer experience and expertise in the field of technology for housing and care providers in sparsely populated areas of northern Europe will also be established during the study.
