L’accompagnement global consiste en la prise en charge coordonnée de demandeurs d’emploi, par deux professionnels, de l’emploi, d’une part, du social, d’autre part. Il repose sur le principe d’une relation structurée entre le Département et Pôle emploi à partir de leurs offres de services et compétences respectives, garantissant cette intervention coordonnée _._ Tous les demandeurs d’emplois sont susceptibles d’être concernés par cet accompagnement dès lors qu’ils rencontrent des « freins sociaux » à l’emploi. La démarche ne peut être engagée sans l’accord explicite de la personne concernée. Ce sont les professionnels de Pôle emploi et du Conseil Général qui repèrent des situations pouvant potentiellement relever de cet accompagnement global. Cette étape pourra s’appuyer sur un entretien conjoint ou sur des entretiens conduits séparément. Un entretien mené par le conseiller Pôle emploi en lien avec le travailleur social référent de la situation, détermine avec la personne concernée le plan d’action à mettre en ½uvre. Le conseiller dédié est le référent du parcours.
