A operação pretende afirmar o concelho num destino de turismo de natureza de excelência, tirando partido património natural, inserido em áreas classificadas do Parque Natural do Alvão e Rede Natura 2000. A linha condutora da operação é a valorização dos produtos turísticos: miradouros, percurso pedestre e estradas panorâmicas através da implementação do projeto Bike Road numa ótica de preservação e proteção das áreas protegidas e classificadas.
