A operação é a construção de uma ponte pedonal (de forma definitiva, de aproximadamente,145 metros) sobre o rio Mondego que permita a utilização do Trilho do Mondego durante todo o ano e não apenas, conforme acontecia antes, durante o período em que a ponte pedonal - precária e provisória - conseguia resistir à fúria da corrente do rio nos meses mais caudalosos. A construção desta ponte insere-se na intenção de valorizar o Trilho do Mondego. (Portuguese)

The operation is the construction of a pedestrian bridge (definitively, approximately 145 meters) over the Mondego River that allows the use of the Mondego Trail throughout the year and not only, as happened before, during the period in which the pedestrian bridge – precarious and temporary – could withstand the fury of the river current in the most flowing months. The construction of this bridge is part of the intention of valuing the Mondego Trail. (English)
