ES EN ESTE CONTEXTO DONDE SURGE EL PRESENTE PROYECTO, EL CUAL CONSISTIRÁ EN DESARROLLAR NUEVAS TÉCNICAS DE DEPURACIÓN FOTOCATALÍTICA DE AGUAS MEDIANTE LA UTILIZACIÓN DE NANOMATERIALES RECUPERABLES Y REUTILIZABLES BASADOS EN NANOPARTÍCULAS CON EFECTO FOTOCATALÍTICO. EN LOS ÚLTIMOS AÑOS SE HAN LLEVADO A CABO NUMEROSAS INVESTIGACIONES EN LAS QUE SE OBSERVA LA ELEVADA EFECTIVIDAD QUE CIERTAS NANOPARTÍCULAS PRESENTAN PARA LA OXIDACIÓN, ADSORCIÓN Y ELIMINACIÓN DE CONTAMINANTES, ESPECIALMENTE ORGÁNICOS, E INCLUSO C (Spanish)

THE POLLUTANTS FROM MUNICIPAL AND INDUSTRIAL WATER CONSIST OF A COMBINATION OF ORGANIC AND INORGANIC MATTER, OILS, FATS, TOXIC SUBSTANCES AND PATHOGENS. THESE DISCHARGES, WITHOUT APPROPRIATE TREATMENT, POTENTIALLY PRESENT A HIGH RISK OF INFECTION AND TOXICITY TO THE POPULATION, ESPECIALLY IN THE CASE OF RECALCITRANT CONTAMINANTS XENOBIOTICS OR WHERE THERE IS CURRENTLY A SERIOUS PROBLEM IN THE ELIMINATION OF DISCHARGES. IT IS IN THIS CONTEXT THAT THE PRESENT PROJECT, WHICH WILL CONSIST OF DEVELOPING NEW TECHNIQUES PHOTOCATALYTIC WATER TREATMENT USING NANOMATERIALS RECOVERABLE AND REUSABLE BASED ON NANOPARTICLES WITH PHOTOCATALYTIC EFFECT ARISES. IN RECENT YEARS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT EXTENSIVE RESEARCH IN THE HIGH EFFECTIVENESS IS OBSERVED THAT CERTAIN NANOPARTICLES HAVE FOR OXIDATION, ADSORPTION AND REMOVAL OF CONTAMINANTS, ESPECIALLY ORGANIC, AND EVEN AS BIOCIDES.
