Posouzení nevyhovující technologie náročnost na manuální práci, nedostatečná přesnost výroby a velká zmetkovitost, znemožňující další rozvoj. Návrh koncepce nové technologie s důrazem na zvýšení stupně automatizace, odstranění co nejvíce lidské práce, pokud možno vyrobit výrobek bez dotyku lidské ruky a nahradit manuální výrobu, tím dosažení vyšší produktivity a přidané hodnoty, snížení zmetkovitosti a získání úspory materiálu a v neposlední míře dosažení značného zvýšení bezpečnosti práce.
