Com este projeto pretendemos ajustar a estrutura do atual quartel sede as novas realidades que se impuseram ao longo destas últimas décadas, nomeadamente a incorporação de operacionais femininos.Este investimento permitira para além de manter o mínimo de segurança cumprindo as dotações mínimas de equipamento por área florestal e silvestre.
