Celem projektu jest stworzenie sprawnego, zintegrowanego systemu transportu publicznego. Projekt obejmuje zakup 7 nowych ekologicznych niskopodłogowych autobusów miejskich wraz z systemem dynamicznej informacji pasażerskiej. Ponadto zaplanowano zakup 6 sztuk stojaków na rowery, które w ramach systemu parkingów rowerowych „Bike&Ride” umożliwią mieszkańcom i turystom przybywającym z obrzeży miasta bezpieczne pozostawienie roweru przy przystanku autobusowym i kontynuowanie dalszej podróży środkami komunikacji zbiorowej.
