Usluga osobne asistencije predstavlja pružanje potpore osobama s najtežom vrstom i stupnjem invaliditeta u provođenju aktivnosti svakodnevnog življenja i samozbrinjavanja. Širenjem usluge osobne asistencije veći broj korisnika, osoba s najtežim stupnjem i vrstom invaliditeta, dobiva mogućnost unapređenja kvalitete življenja, socijalnog uključivanja u zajednicu te sprječavanja institucionalizacije. Pružatelji usluge su osobe u nepovoljnom položaju na tržištu rada. Usluga se pruža na pola radnog vremena mjesečno prema unaprijed utvrđenom planu korisnika, a o pruženoj usluzi se vodi evidencija. The personal assistance service is to provide support to people with the most severe type and degree of disability in carrying out daily living and self-disposal activities. By expanding the personal assistance service, an increased number of beneficiaries, persons with the most severe and disabled, provides the opportunity to improve the quality of life, social inclusion in the community and to prevent institutionalisation. The service providers are disadvantaged in the labour market. The service shall be provided on a part-time basis following a pre-defined plan of users and records shall be kept of the service provided. (English)
