Zbog učestale pojave suše, proizvođači grožđa i vina u Republici Hrvatskoj bilježe značajne gubitke. Due to the frequent occurrence of drought, wine producers and wines in the Republic of Croatia have suffered significant losses. Drought has a negative impact on the existence of natural wildlife populations. The aim of the project is to investigate the tolerance of the Croatian indigenous wine grape vines. The project proposal will (i) analyse the bioclimatic and production variables in Croatia’s main wine grape varieties and natural wildlife populations, (ii) an estimate of the degree of tolerance to drought of Croatian vine germplasm on the basis of physiological, morphological and genetic data. The project results in the function of sustainable wine-growing and will propose climate change adaptation measures for domestic wine-growing and wildlife production conservation. (English)
