The MAS project essentially promotes museum-school cooperation in Europe through the use of ICT learning, such as technical support, web tools and services for schools to use in order to implement their curriculum. Mas supports teachers and teachers’ communities by seeking to establish museum-school cooperatives as online communities, partnerships with the creation of infrastructure (reception portal and digital museum learning environment). The Portal offers a seek-finding feature to discover partners based on their profile, while the digital museum learning creation environment allows students to develop their own virtual exhibitions. The intention is to provide opportunities for free and seamless professional development for teachers and museum staff. More specifically, the intention is for the school, teachers, museum educators and other museum staff to be able to use the digital platform, either through modern or asynchronous learning, and to develop learning activities arising from museums. There is particular emphasis on the development of the MAS project to accommodate the needs of students from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds through the development of a specific innovative pedagogical framework that will be applied at all stages of research. It is expected that students will deepen their knowledge of cultural heritage through participation in the cooperative, while also becoming an incentive to participate in museum education, either physically or online in the future.
