Projektet ska bidra med nya miljövänliga produkter som utvinns ur skogen i Mellersta Norrland. De ska också utveckla och stärka den regionala skogsindustrin och dess kringverksamhet genom forskning mot nya produkter och processer som ska kommersialiseras av företagen.Projektet ska också bygga en stark forskningsmiljö inom bioraffinaderi- och miljöområdet samt skapa synergieffekter mellan Mittuniversitetet och företagen. The project will contribute with new environmentally friendly products extracted from the forest in Central Norrland. They will also develop and strengthen the regional forest industry and its activities through research towards new products and processes to be commercialised by the companies.The project will also build a strong research environment within the biorefinery and environment area, as well as create synergies between Mid Sweden University and companies.
