Förstudien ska arbeta fram ett kartläggnings- och planeringsunderlag som genom grundlig behovsanalys påvisar vilken befintlig kvalitativ idrottsinfrastruktur och multifunktionell rekreationsinfrastruktur som finns i länet, vilket behovet av utveckling är samt vilka effekter som skulle kunna skapas ur både näringslivs- och hållbarhetsperspektiv. Förstudien ska också resultera i en strategisk prioriteringsmodell för hur medel ska fördelas med syftet att säkerställa hållbar tillväxt i alla delar av länet med utgångspunkt från de lokala och regionala förutsättningar som råder. Målsättningen är att dessa resultat ska skapa potential för proaktivt och strategiskt arbete med stöd via regionala tillväxtmedel till företag och organisationer så att det i ett längre perspektiv finns ett kvalitativt utbud av idrottsinfrastruktur och multifunktionell rekreationsinfrastruktur året runt som utgör utgångspunkt för en hållbar näringslivsutveckling i hela Jämtlands län. The feasibility study will develop a mapping and planning basis that, through thorough needs analysis, demonstrates the existing qualitative sports infrastructure and multifunctional recreational infrastructure in the county, which is the need for development and what effects could be created from both business and sustainability perspectives. The feasibility study will also result in a strategic priority model for how funds should be allocated with the aim of ensuring sustainable growth in all parts of the county based on the local and regional conditions prevailing. The goal is for these results to create potential for proactive and strategic work with support through regional growth funds for companies and organisations so that in a longer perspective there is a qualitative range of sports infrastructure and multifunctional recreational infrastructure year-round, which is the starting point for sustainable business development throughout Jämtland County.
