Det övergripande målet med projekten är att den tillverkande industrin i Västra Götalandsregionen ska öka sin konkurrenskraft och lönsamhet genom nya affärsmodeller och omställning till en allt mer attraktiv, hållbar och cirkulär verksamhet. Detta genom att operativt adressera, vidareutveckla och samla insatserna i Västsverige för att skapa ett helhetsgrepp avseende deltagande företags utveckling. Som koordinerande part kommer Catalyst dirigera företag till de olika IUC insatser där störst nytta skapas beroende av insatsbehov. Deltagande små och medelstora företags (SMF) verksamheter kommer analyseras och nära stöd erbjudas för att utveckla nya arbetssätt. Projektet ämnar även ge SMF tillgång till Innovations- och testmiljöer. Insatsen väntas resultera i förbättrat nyttjande av befintliga resurser och strukturer både regionalt och interregionalt. The overall goal of the projects is for the manufacturing industry in the Västra Götaland region to increase its competitiveness and profitability through new business models and transition to increasingly attractive, sustainable and circular operations. This is done by addressing, further developing and gathering efforts in West Sweden to create a holistic approach to the development of participating companies. As a coordinating party, Catalyst will direct companies to the various IUC efforts where the greatest benefit is created depending on the input needs. Participating SMEs (SMFs) will be analysed and close support will be offered to develop new ways of working. The project also aims to provide SMEs with access to Innovation and Test environments. The initiative is expected to result in improved utilisation of existing resources and structures both regionally and interregionally. (English)
