Expected long-term results are that there is an established regional collaboration platform that supports and adds added value to Gotland food and food companies in their work with capacity development, innovation and value development.     Det övergripande målet för projektet är att skapa ökad affärsmässighet och tillväxt hos mat- och livsmedelsföretag på Gotland genom samverkan, hållbar förnyelse och ökad förädlingsgrad. Ett mål som är knutet till regionala och nationella styrdokument för tillväxt och utveckling av livsmedelssystemet. Projektmålet är att etablera en plattform för samverkan inom innovations- och kapacitetsutveckling av mat- och livsmedelsföretag på Gotland. Projektet har två målområden Kapacitetsutveckling samt Innovation och marknadsutveckling som vardera har ett antal delmål vilka är kopplade till projektmålet. Inom varje målområde planeras aktiviteter i form av seminarier, workshops och rådgivning riktad till det regionala näringslivet. Förväntat resultat vid projektavslut är att små och medelstora mat- och livsmedelsföretag på Gotland har fått höjd affärsmässighet och tillväxt, säljer sina produkter på fler marknader, erbjuder marknadsanpassade och miljömässigt hållbara produkter samt att innovationsutvecklingen har ökat och att samarbetet mellan företagen och akademin har förstärkts. Förväntat resultat på lång sikt är att det finns en etablerad regional samverkansplattform som stödjer och ger ett mervärde till gotländska mat- och livsmedelsföretag i deras arbete med kapacitetsutveckling, innovation och värdeutveckling.
