The project aims to improve passenger parking opportunities in connection with Bodens Resecentrum. The aim is to create an accessible and functional exchange point and stimulate increased collective travel and regional mobility. Good transport infrastructure and multimodal transport solutions are one of the most important prerequisites for strengthening the interaction between the towns in Norrbotten, its labour markets and access to higher education. Communications and good infrastructure are crucial for the municipality’s growth and development and are important prerequisites for the competitiveness and willingness to invest in the business sector. Regional enlargement measures and measures that improve conditions for commuting work are therefore crucial for our municipality’s growth. A well-functioning passenger parking with charging for electric vehicles, access to carport and engine heaters is a central development for the passenger transports that take place at Boden C to be attractive and lead to a transfer from car transport to more environmentally friendly alternatives in the form of bus or train. The efforts will make changes between different modes of transport simple and efficient, stimulate a more equal travel in public transport and the area should be felt safe and accessible to all travellers’ categories. Projektet avser förbättrade resenärsparkeringsmöjligheter i anslutning till Bodens Resecentrum. Syftet är att skapa en tillgänglig och funktionell bytespunkt och stimulera till ökat kollektivt resande samt till en regional rörlighet. Bra transportinfrastruktur och multimodala transportlösningar är en av de viktigaste förutsättningarna för att stärka samspelet mellan orterna i Norrbotten, dess arbetsmarknader och tillgängligheten till högre utbildning. Kommunikationer och god infrastruktur är avgörande för kommunens tillväxt och utveckling och är viktiga förutsättningar för näringslivets konkurrenskraft och investeringsvilja. Regionförstorande åtgärder och åtgärder som förbättrar förutsättningarna till arbetspendling är därför helt avgörande för vår kommuns tillväxt. En väl fungerande resenärparkering med laddning för elfordon, tillgång till carport och motorvärmare är en central utveckling för att de persontransporter som sker vid Boden C skall bli attraktiva och medföra en överflyttning från biltransporter till mer miljövänligare alternativ i form av buss eller tåg. Insatserna skall göra byten mellan olika trafikslag enkla och effektiva, stimulera till ett mer jämställt resande i kollektivtrafiken och området skall upplevas tryggt och tillgängligt för alla resenärskategorier.
