In order to support decision-makers within municipalities and industry, the project will map the region’s preconditions for the expansion, planning and establishment of infrastructure for charging electric cars. The project will contribute to increasing the knowledge of public and private actors, which will speed up the expansion of the charging infrastructure. The project will produce a knowledge overview that describes the current situation in the region, different charging stations, existing fleet of vehicles and expectations of future developments in the area. The project will also conduct an introductory seminar that aims to increase the knowledge of participating actors. The project will develop a strategy that includes stakeholder and stakeholder analysis, description of market conditions, a map of strategic locations for the location of charging stations and strategy for how to challenge obstacles and challenges. The strategy developed by the project will serve as a planning basis for the region and the project aims to build regional and local platforms for stakeholder collaboration on the construction of the charging infrastructure. Through concrete efforts towards the target group, the project will contribute to increased investment rates in different charging systems. In the long term, the project is expected to contribute to a significantly increased use of electric cars in the region, and above all reduced use of fossil fuel-driven cars. (Swedish)
