Bude vytvořen excelentní mezinárodní výzkumný tým zaměřený na výzkum patogenů z rodu Phytophthora (Chromalveolata, Heterocontophyta, Oomycetes). Prohloubí se poznání globální diverzity, evoluční historie, mechanismů mezidruhového křížení a faktorů adaptability rodu, stejně jako molekulárních mechanismů, ovlivňujících odolnost a náchylnost dřevin vůči chorobě. Unikátní poznatky budou publikovány a použity k řešení praktické ochrany omezující šíření těchto patogenů v přírodních ekosystémech. a. (Czech)

An excellent international research team will be established for the research of pathogens from the genus Phytophthora (Chromalveolata, Heterocontophyta, Oomycetes). The knowledge of global diversity, evolutionary history, interspecies interbreeding mechanisms, and the adaptability factors of the genus, as well as molecular mechanisms, affecting the resistance and susceptibility of the species to disease will be deepened. Unique knowledge will be published and used to address practical protection limiting the spread of these pathogens in natural ecosystems. a. (English)
