THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROJECT IS TO ACHIEVE THE COMPLETE INTEGRATION OF ERATO IN SATENIA AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AUTOMATED SYSTEMS, THE ATM SYSTEM CURRENTLY OPERATED IN THE CONTROL CENTRES D OF ENAV SPA, AND THE INTRODUCTION OF THE NEW SYSTEM IN OPERATIONAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE FIRST ACC OF BRINDISI AND SUBSEQUENTLY IN THE OTHER CONTROL CENTRES. ERATO Ê AN OPERATIONAL STAFF DECISION TO MANAGE POTENTIAL ATC CONFLICTS OVER THE MEDIUM TO LONG TERM. THE TOOL IS USED AS A TOOL TO SUPPORT THE WORK OF THE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLER BY SUPPORTING THE DECISION-MAKING PROCESS THROUGH A TIME-HORIZON VISUAL REPRESENTATION OF THE POTENTIAL PROBLEMS IN THE MEDIUM TO LONG TERM.
