Realizace projektu pokryje nedostatečnou odolnost území ORP Přerov vůči účinkům mimořádných událostí způsobených změnou klimatu a novými riziky. Realizací projektu dojde k vybudování stanice Přerov HZS Olomouckého kraje v nové dislokaci (ORP Přerov). Nová dislokace stanice umožní nasazení sil a prostředků HZS kraje v přijatelné reakční době; současně budou eliminovány opakující se výskyty mimořádných událostí ohrožující výkon služby na stanici, zejména ohrožení únikem nebezpečných látek.
