Projekt řeší náhradu již nevyhovujících komponentů, doplnění a upgrade softwarových aplikací, přechod ze zastaralé analogové radiové sítě do digitální radiové sítě a kompatibilitu Řídícího a informačního systému MHD s novými, moderními řešeními z oblastí telematiky a dopravní obslužnosti.
