    Projekt je zaměřen na zlepšení životních podmínek kriticky ohroženého vodního makrofyta - rdestu dlouholistého (Potamogeton praelongus) a rdestu alpského (Potamogeton alpinus) v levobřežním slepém rameni Orlice u Hradce Králové. Lokalita je součástí záchranného programu pro rdest dlouholistý v gesci MŽP ČR. Zároveň je vymezena jako Přechodně chráněná plocha Rameno u Stříbrného potoka a je součástí EVL Orlice a Labe v rámci soustavy NATURA 2000. (Czech)
