Hlavní aktivitou projektu je obnova památky (rekonstrukce a stavební úpravy, odstranění nepůvodních a nevyhovujících stavebních prvků a realizace inženýrských sítí), cílovou skupinou projektu jsou místní obyvatelé a návštěvníci města Karlovy Vary, přínosem je opětovné zpřístupnění interiéru a úprava exteriéru stavby a zachování rázu památky i pro další generace. Objekt je zapsán v ústředním seznamu kulturních památek ČR pod číslem 15403/4-4131 a pod názvem rozhledna - vyhlídka J. W. Goetha. (Czech)

The building is listed in the central list of cultural monuments of the Czech Republic under number 15403/4-4131 and under the name of the lookout tower – the lookout tower J. W. Goethe. (English)
