Cílem opatření je zvýšit bezpečnost a ochranu obyvatelstva města Újezd u Brna prostřednictvím pořízení digitálního povodňového plánu a bezdrátového místního rozhlasu napojeného na Jednotný systém varování a informování obyvatelstva. Součástí projektu je také pořízení srážkoměrné stanice, která prostřednictvím sms zpráv informuje o rizikovém množství dešťových srážek.Všechny tyto aktivity povedou ke zvýšení ochrany života osob a majetku ohrožených povodňovým rizikem.
