Předmětem předkládaného projektu je rozšíření stávající kotelny na biomasu s instalovaným výkonem 3,0 MW o nový zdroj na biomasu, resp. rozšíření výkonu celé propojené SZTE, pro kterou slouží další zdroje umístěné mimo kotelnu na biomasu. Nový zdroj o výkonu 0,8 MW bude sloužit jako primární zdroj používaný celoročně v maximální možné míře, čímž dojde ke zvýšení účinnosti SZTE snížením využití méně účinných zdrojů, poklesu spotřeby energie o 0,8 % a provozních nákladů o 6,4 % a snížení emisí. a.
