The main objective of the project is to strengthen mechanisms for the protection of biodiversity and endangered natural habitats in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship by improving the qualifications of conservation officials. The objective will be achieved by conducting 3 training cycles after 4 meetings in the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodship. The project will be carried out on a temporary basis, the voivodship will be divided into 3 parts covering 115 gminas and 18 powiats. In each part of the voivodship there will be 4 trainings. One session will be attended by officials from neighbouring municipalities and districts. The content of the trainings in each part of the voivodship will be repeated similarly. In the run-up to the training, a publication will be prepared containing the most relevant issues to assist officials in making the right decisions to reconcile economic development and maintaining biodiversity at an appropriate level. The publication will be a compendium of knowledge on the protection of endangered animal and plant species and their habitats in the Zachodniopomorskie voivodship and will be distributed among the participants of the training and sent to officials dealing with nature conservation in the Zachodniopomorskie voivodship. Celem głównym projektu jest wzmocnienie mechanizmów ochrony bioróżnorodności oraz zagrożonych siedlisk przyrodniczych na terenie województwa zachodniopomorskiego poprzez podniesienie kwalifikacji urzędników zajmujących się ochroną przyrody. Cel zostanie osiągnięty poprzez przeprowadzenie 3 cykli szkoleń po 4 spotkania na terenie województwa zachodniopomorskiego. Projekt prowadzony będzie niestacjonarnie, województwo zostanie podzielone na 3 części obejmujące 115 gmin i 18 powiatów. W każdej z części województwa zorganizowanych będzie po 4 szkolenia. W jednej sesji będą uczestniczyli urzędnicy z sąsiadujących ze sobą gmin i starostw. Treści szkoleń w każdej z części województwa będą się analogicznie powtarzały. W okresie poprzedzającym szkolenia zostanie przygotowana publikacja zawierająca najistotniejsze zagadnienia wspomagające urzędników w podejmowaniu właściwych decyzji umożliwiających pogodzenie kwestii związanych z rozwojem gospodarczym i utrzymaniem bioróżnorodności na właściwym poziomie. Publikacja będzie stanowiła kompendium wiedzy z zakresu ochrony zagrożonych gatunków zwierząt i roślin oraz ich siedlisk na terenie województwa zachodniopomorskiego i zostanie rozdystrybuowana wśród uczestników szkoleń i rozesłana do urzędników zajmujących się ochroną przyrody na terenie woj. zachodniopomorskiego.
