The project involves carrying out several stages of R & D in order to: 1. to create a line for sheet cutting from coil;2. to perform quality and performance tests created in the first line;3. the creation of a line for sheet metal profile for roofing using semi-finished products produced by the coil sheet cutting line;4. the development of a new, innovative roof covering from sheet to sheath. As a result of industrial research and development, a production process is envisaged to enable the introduction of new, innovative products. Currently used roof platings have a number of restrictions that the applicant plans to eliminate, or at least limit. The project will result in steel roof coverings characterised by a modern shape and above average aesthetics, and at the same time important functional features, which should include:1. a new way of joining the sheets using the mechanism of locking, which improves durability and appearance of connections;2.better protection of roof elements against corrosion; 3. natural ventilation and drying of the sheets without the need to use ventilation nets, which may cause up to 40 cents of roof formation. Current solutions on the market do not provide the applicant’s expected precision and efficiency. Therefore, with knowledge of the operation of the technological lines and the need to test different materials and solutions in order to achieve the final results of the project, it was decided to build technological lines from scratch.
