Przedmiotem projektu jest wykreowanie przestrzeni publicznej tj.miejsca służącego rekreacji i wypoczynkowi mieszkańców miasta i turystów. Obecnie na terenie objętym opracowaniem znajduje się zaniedbany zielony skwer z okalającym chodnikiem wzdłuż którego rosną wieloletnie drzewa. Projekt znajduje się w centralnej części miasta, która powinna być jego wizytówką. W chwili obecnej plac szpeci to miejsce, jest niefunkcjonalny i niewykorzystywany w sposób oczekiwany przez społeczeństwo i władze miasta. Projekt wpisuje się i realizuje cele RPO WiM na lata 2014-2020. Przedsięwzięcie wpisuje się w działanie 8.1. Rewitalizacja obszarów miejskich RPO WWM realizuje 9 cel tematyczny: Promowanie włączenia społecznego, walka z ubóstwem i wszelką dyskryminacją, priorytet inwestycyjny 9b: Wspieranie rewitalizacji fizycznej, gospodarczej i społecznej ubogich społeczności na obszarach miejskich i wiejskich, cel szczegółowy: Lepsza jakość życia społeczności zamieszkujących obszary problemowe. Kwalifikuje się do projektów schematu A. Projekt uwzględnia działania w zakresie zagospodarowania (usunięcie wyeksploatowanych elementów placu: nawierzchnie, zieleń, mała architektura, wykonanie nowych elementów: nawierzchnie, zieleń, mała architektura, oświetlenie) i rozwoju przestrzeni w obszarze problemowym i zagrożonym ubóstwem. Przyczyni się do wzrostu gospodarczego tej części Susza poprzez regenerację obszaru dawnego rynku – placu przy ul. Stare Miasto. Działanie ukierunkowane jest na nadanie zdegradowanej przestrzeni nowych walorów funkcjonalnych i estetycznych, podniesienie atrakcyjności społecznej terenu oraz stworzenie warunków do dalszych działań na rzecz włączenia społecznego, walki z ubóstwem i wszelką dyskryminacją. Planowane przedsięwzięcie przyczyni się zatem do poprawy jakości życia społeczności zamieszkującej i użytkującej zdegradowany obszar starego miasta w Suszu, likwidacji podstawowych barier infrastrukturalnych powodujących dysfunkcję obszaru i wykluczenie społeczne. Today, there is a neglected green square with a pavement along which trees grow for years. The project is located in the central part of the city, which should be its showcase. At present, the square disfigures this place, it is unfunctional and not used as expected by the public and the city authorities. The project fits in and implements the objectives of the WiM RPO for the years 2014-2020. The project is part of action 8.1. Revitalisation of urban areas ROP WWM pursues 9 thematic objective: Promoting social inclusion, combating poverty and all discrimination, investment priority 9b: Supporting the physical, economic and social regeneration of poor communities in urban and rural areas, specific objective: Better quality of life for communities living in problem areas. It is eligible for scheme A projects. The project takes into account the development activities (deleting of the exploited elements of the square: surfaces, greens, small architecture, new elements: surfaces, greens, small architecture, lighting) and the development of space in an area that is problematic and at risk of poverty. It will contribute to the economic growth of this part of the Drought by regenerating the area of the former market – square at ul. The old town. The action is aimed at giving a degraded space new functional and aesthetic qualities, increasing the social attractiveness of the area and creating the conditions for further action to promote social inclusion, combating poverty and any discrimination. The planned project will therefore contribute to improving the quality of life of the community living and using the degraded area of the old town of Suszu, removing the basic infrastructure barriers resulting in the area’s dysfunction and social exclusion.
