The main objective of this project is to increase the effectiveness of preventing the effects of natural disasters and in removing the consequences of disasters in Morawica commune and Kielce district by purchasing specialised rescue equipment for the OSP Morawica.As part of the project, a rescue and fire extinguishing car (heavy) with equipment, smoke fan with water drive, sludge pump and radio will be purchased. The implementation of the project will, among others, contribute to: Improve the safety of residents of Morawica commune, Kielce county, Quicker access to the site of the event, Improvement of rescue operations, Improvement of safety of firefighters of the OSP in Morawica, Improvement and modernisation of the equipment of the OSP unit in Morawica, further professionalisation of activities of the TSO. The project is in line with the objective of Action 4.1 to counteract and eliminate the effects of natural disasters, namely “Increased effectiveness in tackling the effects of natural disasters and in disaster recovery”. INDICATORS: Number of persons protected from non-hazardous floods – 15679, Number of rescue services equipped with rescue and disaster relief equipment [pcs] – 1 Number of fire trucks purchased with equipment for emergency rescue and disaster relief [pcs] -1. Celem głównym przedmiotowego projektu jest zwiększenie skuteczności przeciwdziałania skutkom klęsk żywiołowych oraz w usuwaniu skutków katastrof na terenie Gminy Morawica oraz powiatu kieleckiego poprzez zakup specjalistycznego sprzętu ratowniczego dla OSP Morawica.W ramach projektu zostanie zakupiony samochód ratowniczo -gaśniczy (ciężki) wraz z wyposażeniem, wentylator oddymiający z napędem wodnym, pompa szlamowa oraz radiotelefon. Realizacja projektu przyczyni się m.in. do: Poprawy bezpieczeństwa mieszkańców gminy Morawica, powiatu kieleckiego, Szybszego dojazdu na miejsce zdarzenia, Usprawnienia akcji ratowniczych, Poprawy bezpieczeństwa strażaków OSP w Morawicy, Poprawy i unowocześnienia wyposażenia jednostki OSP w Morawicy, Dalszej profesjonalizacji działań OSP. Projekt jest zgodny z celem działania Działania 4.1 Przeciwdziałanie skutkom klęsk żywiołowych oraz usuwanie ich skutków jakim jest "Zwiększona skuteczność przeciwdziałania skutkom klęsk żywiołowych oraz w usuwaniu skutków katastrof".
