The th-century palace has been a branch of the Siemianowice Cultural Centre since January 2016, and its main task is to organise and popularise activities for children, young people and adults in artistic, educational and sports sections. The object was entered in the Register of Monuments of the Silesian Provincial Monument Conservator under No. A/1611/95 on 20 June 1995. The palace is surrounded by an extensive Miner Park. The scope of the project includes renovation of the interior of the Palace (e.g. flooring, carpentry, wall linings), internal installations (e.g. electrical, mechanical ventilation, what, cwu), renovation of the historic conservatory (including glass and steel structure) and part of the renovation works of the external building (e.g. stairs and terrace, balustrades). Przedmiotem projektu jest rewitalizacja zabytkowego budynku Pałacu Rheinbabenów w centrum Michałkowic - cz. II, dzielnicy Siemianowic Śląskich. XVI-wieczny pałac od stycznia 2016 r. stanowi oddział Siemianowickiego Centrum Kultury, a głównym jego zadaniem jest organizowanie i popularyzowanie zajęć dla dzieci, młodzieży oraz dorosłych w sekcjach artystycznych, edukacyjnych i sportowych. Obiekt wpisany został do rejestru zabytków Śląskiego Wojewódzkiego Konserwatora Zabytków pod nr. A/1611/95 w dniu 20 czerwca 1995r. Pałac otoczony jest przez rozległy Park Górnik. Zakres projektu obejmuje wykonanie remontu wnętrza Pałacu (m.in. posadzek, stolarki, okładzin ściennych), instalacji wewnętrznych (m.in. elektrycznych, wentylacji mechanicznej, co, cwu), renowacji zabytkowej oranżerii (m.in. w zakresie szklenia i konstrukcji stalowej) oraz część robót remontowych zewnętrznych budynku (m.in. schodów i tarasu, balustrad).
