Przedmiotem projektu jest rewitalizacja terenu o powierzchni 1,4 ha, przylegającego do koryta rzeki Czarnej Przemszy w centrum Będzina. Nieużytkowany obecnie teren zostanie zagospodarowany na cele społeczne, rekreacyjno-wypoczynkowe, tak aby mogły z niego korzystać wszystkie osoby zamieszkujące obszar rewitalizacji Śródmieście oraz szerzej wszyscy mieszkańcy Będzina. Zakres projektu obejmuje następujące elementy: - plażę piaszczystą o powierzchni 2 052 m2 z częścią wypoczynkową oraz sportową - boiskiem do siatkówki plażowej, - plażę trawiastą o powierzchni 1 395 m2, - nasypy ziemne o nawierzchni trawiastej o powierzchni 709 m2, - pagórki o nawierzchni syntetycznej na podkładzie betonowym o powierzchni 125 m2, - elementy małej architektury (betonowe siedziska) - okrągłą fontannę działającą w obiegu zamkniętym o całkowitej powierzchni zagospodarowania 87 m2, - oświetlenie parkowe - latarnie wysokie.
