The project will be carried out in the Beka wildlife park in the municipality of Puck and in its immediate vicinity (powiat puki, Pomorskie Voivodeship). Project activities correspond to two main needs related to the preservation of the natural and landscape amenities of the site. One of them is the preservation of protected coastal ecosystems and the natural landscape of the river estuary against excessive and uncontrolled pressure on tourists. The solution to this problem is to target the movement of tourists within the reserve site by modernising the existing infrastructure (educational path) and by creating mechanisms that will limit the penetration of the most vulnerable habitats not made available to visitors, including the implementation of the patrol system. The parallel action is to remove tourist traffic outside the reserve by creating a new trail with an interesting infrastructure (including a tower), which, beyond the boundaries of the protected area, will be able to get to know and observe typical features of the Beki of landscape features and nature. Throughout the project implementation, there will also be a regional information and learning campaign that uses various forms and tools to improve public acceptance of the concept and methods for the protection of the reserve and build appropriate social green attitudes. The second need is to continue to pursue long-term active protection measures to preserve the valuable habitats of coastal meadows and pastures (natural habitats and habitats of birds). The tasks to be undertaken for this purpose shall consist of extensive farming management (mowing and grazing), management of the water level in the reservation and the nature and hydrological monitoring of the effects of the activities carried out. Drugą potrzebą jest kontynuacja długoterminowych działań z zakresu ochrony czynnej, służących utrzymaniu w niepogorszonym stanie cennych siedlisk łąk i pastwisk nadmorskich (siedliska przyrodnicze i siedliska ptaków).
