Przedmiotem projektu jest modernizacja oświetlenia zewnętrznego na obszarze Chojnicko-Człuchowskiego Miejskiego Obszaru Funkcjonalnego przez wymianę w ciągach komunikacyjnych i ogólnodostępnych przestrzeniach publicznych 402 szt. opraw świetlnych sodowych na energooszczędne typu LED. Obszarem bezpośredniego działania jest teren Gminy Czersk oraz Gminy Miejskiej Chojnice. Celem głównym inwestycji jest zwiększenie sprawności funkcjonowania komunalnej infrastruktury energetycznej oraz ograniczenie zużycia energii przez infrastrukturę oświetleniową natomiast celem szczegółowym ograniczenie emisji CO2 do środowiska, poprawa jakości powietrza, poprawa bezpieczeństwa energetycznego obszaru i bezpieczeństwa przestrzeni publicznej.
