The project aims to extend the provincial road no. 188 on the Człuchów – Debrzno section of approx.18.3km. It is planned to include a section in Człuchów from the roundabout with DK No 25 towards Debrzno. As part of the project, road 188 will be extended, and its construction will be reinforced to 115kN/axle. Vertical and horizontal arcs will be corrected. Intersections will be reconstructed, and on the section there will be built lines for pedestrian and bicycle traffic. The implementation of the project will improve road safety, reduce the number of collisions and accidents, improve traffic, improve the comfort of travelling by road between Pomorskie, Wielkopolska and Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodships. Linking voivodship road No. 188 to national road No 25 and national road No 22 will help to reduce travel time to tourist destinations within the National Park in Tucholskie Bory and other cultural monuments in the Regions. Projekt ma na celu rozbudowę drogi wojewódzkiej nr 188 na odcinku Człuchów - Debrzno długości ok.18,3km. Planuje się włącznie odcinka w miejscowości Człuchów od ronda z DK nr 25 w stronę miejscowości Debrzno. W ramach projektu zostanie poszerzona jezdnia drogi 188, a jej konstrukcja zostanie wzmocniona do 115kN/oś. Skorygowane zostaną łuki pionowe i poziome. Przebudowane zostaną skrzyżowania, na odcinku zostanie wybudowane ciągi obsługujące ruch pieszy i rowerowy. Realizacja projektu spowoduje poprawę bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego, przyczyni się do zmniejszenia ilości kolizji i wypadków, usprawni ruch, poprawi komfort podróżowania drogą miedzy województwami Pomorskim, Wielkopolskim oraz Kujawsko-Pomorskim. Powiązanie drogi wojewódzkiej nr 188 z drogą krajową nr 25 oraz drogą krajową nr 22 przyczyni się do skrócenia czasu podróży do ośrodków turystycznych w obrębie Parku Narodowego w Borach Tucholskich oraz innych zabytków kulturowych w Regionach.
