Przedmiotem projektu jest budowa sopockiego odcinka Międzynarodowej Trasy Rowerowej R 10, stanowiącego element przedsięwzięcia strategicznego „Pomorskie Trasy Rowerowe o znaczeniu międzynarodowym R-10 i Wiślana Trasa Rowerowa R9”. Podjęte w ramach projektu działania polegać będą na przebudowie ścieżek rowerowych zlokalizowanych w Sopocie o łącznej długości około 3,4 km oraz budowie czterech nowych miejsc postojowych dla rowerzystów. Celem projektu jest stworzenie nowoczesnego produktu turystycznego oferującego kompleksową ofertę dla użytkowników oraz dostęp do miejsc o szczególnych walorach kulturowych i przyrodniczych poprzez poprawę istniejącego stanu ścieżek rowerowych w Sopocie i dostosowanie ich do standardów międzynarodowych.
