The aim of the project is to increase the competitiveness of Bowil Biotech and improve its ability to develop products through innovation. The project concerns carrying out investments in tangible assets related to the upgrade of the production line existing in the company’s bionanocellulose plant. As a result of the investment, the company will be able to produce a biomaterial, which will be used in the production of Class III medical devices such as bioimplants for neurosurgery, vascular surgery and cardiosurgery. The result of the project will be a new, innovative material in the world, which will enable the company to expand its new product segment, develop exports and expand its impact on new foreign markets – USA. The product introduced is the result of its own research and development, carried out under the PBS “Kardio BNC” project and its presence on the market will result in an important contribution to the development of regenerative medicine and implantology. Celem projektu jest wzrost konkurencyjności Bowil Biotech i poprawa jej zdolności do rozwijania produktów poprzez zastosowanie innowacji. Projekt dotyczy przeprowadzenia inwestycji w rzeczowe środki trwałe związane z upgradem linii produkcyjnej istniejącej w fabryce bionanocelulozy spółki. W wyniku realizacji inwestycji firma osiągnie możliwość produkcyjną wytwarzania biomateriału, który znajdzie zastosowanie w produkcji wyrobów medycznych klasy III jakim są bioimplanty dla neurochirurgii, chirurgii naczyniowej i kardiochirurgii. Efektem realizacji projektu będzie nowy, innowacyjny w skali świata materiał, który umożliwi firmie ekspansję nowego segmentu produktowego, rozwój eksportu i rozszerzenie swojego oddziaływania o nowe rynki zagraniczne - USA. Wprowadzany produkt jest wynikiem własnych prac badawczo-rozwojowych, zrealizowanych w ramach projektu PBS „Kardio BNC” i jego zaistnienie na rynku spowoduje istotny wkład w rozwój medycyny regeneracyjnej i implantologii.
