The implementation of the project assumes the development of Wisła AR application based on innovative technology of extended reality. This application will present the city’s cartographic resources in this technology. It will combine the traditional functionality of maps, enriching them with an expanded reality. The developed application after installing a smartphone with an android or equal system and turning your phone towards a traditional paper or standing map will recognise a pre-hidden pre-programmed tag and display three-dimensional information or visualisations on the map. In this way we can see in space what a certain point (historical, tourist, administrative) looks like, or we want to learn more about it. The scope of the project’s work includes the digitisation of the city’s cartographic resources and programming work related to the development of this application (English)

    Realizacja projektu zakłada opracowanie aplikacja Wisła AR opierającej się na nowatorskiej technologii rozszerzonej rzeczywistości. Aplikacja ta przedstawiać będzie we wspomnianej technologii zasoby kartograficzne miasta. Łączyć ona będzie tradycyjną funkcjonalność map, wzbogacając je dodatkowo o rozszerzoną rzeczywistość. Opracowana aplikacja po zainstalowaniu na telefonie typu "smartfon" z systemem android lub równ. oraz po skierowaniu telefonu w stronę tradycyjnej papierowej, bądź stojącej mapy rozpoznawać będzie ukryty wcześniej zaprogramowany znacznik i wyświetlać na ekranie umieszczone na mapie trójwymiarowe informacje czy wizualizacje. W ten sposób możemy w przestrzeni zobaczyć jak wygląda określony punkt (zabytkowy, turystyczny, administracyjny) do którego chcemy dotrzeć lub o którym chcemy się nieco więcej dowiedzieć. Zakres prac w ramach projektu uwzględnia digitalizację zasobów kartograficznych miasta oraz prace programistyczne związane z opracowaniem wspomnianej aplikacji (Polish)
