After the needs analysis, four school pupils take part in the project: Technical school at the CKZiU in Strzelce Opolskie (classified as a weak school- Wed. matur from 2015 62.6 %, voivodship. 69.6 %), Technikm at the ZSP in Zawadzki (classified as a school of good – wed. from 2015 is 72.3 %, voivodship. 69.6 %), the High School of General Education at the ZSP in Zawadzki (classified as a weak school – wed. matur from 2015 is 66.05 %, voivodship. 69.6 %) and the General Education Secondary School at the ZSO in Strzelce Opolskie (classified as a school of good – wed matrices from 2015 is 79.35 %, voivodships. 69.6 %) – at least 50 % of schools participating in the project are weak schools. Both Opolskie and Zawadzkie Strzelce are areas covered by the local revitalisation plan. During the preparation of the diagnosis and comparing the results of pupils‘exams, numerous gaps in pupils’ skills in interpreting tasks were observed in a practical and logical way. The shortcomings are mainly due to the traditional, outdated way of passing on knowledge to students. It has been observed that students have a dormant imagination that could certainly awaken classes conducted on the basis of experimentation, practice, self-reliance. Conducting such activities requires schools to equip them and to demonstrate certain phenomena in nature or using the scientific laboratories available to universities. However, the huge financial barrier makes it impossible in a short time to comprehensively equip the studios and organise group trips to professional laboratory demonstrations at universities. Podczas przygotowywania diagnoz i porównywania wyników egzaminów maturalnych uczniów zaobserwowano liczne braki w umiejętności uczniów w interpretacji zadań w praktyczny i logiczny sposób. (Polish)
