Property / summary
The main objective of the project is to improve air quality by reducing emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere in the municipality of Sanok. In particular, the following specific objectives are to be pursued: to modernise the heat generation process by increasing the efficiency of fuel combustion processes, reducing emissions of harmful gases and dusts into the atmosphere, facilitating the use of energy sources and improving the thermal comfort of residential buildings. As a result of the project, the structure of heat production in the area of the municipality to be supported will change by increasing the proportion of solid fuel boilers (other than biomass) of Class 5 with automatic choke, at the expense of low legal sources of solid fuel, fossil fuels. The project will also contribute to improving social and territorial cohesion in terms of balancing access to efficient heat production systems, which will help to reduce the level of energy poverty. The project will cover 17 households, which will be equipped with 17 boilers for the use of Class 5 eco-fuel boilers with automatic fuel. The total capacity of the boiler installed shall be 334 kW. The surface of the premises to be changed by heat sources will be 2 972.00 m². The following result indicators have been identified in connection with the implementation of the project: Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions — 267,87 [tonnes of CO2 equivalent]; Estimated annual reduction of PM-10-2,57 [Mg/year]; Number of households benefiting from the project results — 17 (English)
