Project titled: “Green Energy in the Mielnik Municipality” refers to the construction of a photovoltaic installation of 10 kW (10.98 kWp) in the sewage treatment plant in Mielnik, owned by the Municipality of Mielnik, transferred to the Municipal Economy Plant in Mieelnik – the budget unit of Mielnik commune The purpose of the photovoltaic installation will be to produce electricity for own needs of the facility. The strategic objective of the project is to promote a low-carbon economy in all sectors to improve the energy balance, while the direct objective is to increase the use of renewable energy sources in the Mielnik Municipality. The objectives of the project are included in Measure 5.1 Energy based on renewable energy sources, Priority Axis V. Low-carbon economy, i.e.: increase the share of distributed renewable energy production. The implementation of the project will allow the following indicators to be achieved: at product level: — Number of built-in RES generation units – 1 units, – Estimated annual reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (CI 34) – 8.87 tonnes CO2 equivalent, – Additional renewable energy generation capacity (CI) – 0,01 MW, b) at the result level: — Production of electricity from newly built RES installations – 10.92 MWhe/year, The project is scheduled to be implemented from 28 August 2018 to 31 December 2018.     Projekt pt.: „Zielona energia w Gminie Mielnik” dotyczy budowy instalacji fotowoltaicznej 10 kW (10,98 kWp) w oczyszczalni ścieków w Mielniku, stanowiącej własność Gminy Mielnik, przekazanej w trwały zarząd Zakładowi Gospodarki Komunalnej w Mielniku – jednostce budżetowej Gminy Mielnik Zadaniem instalacji fotowoltaicznej będzie produkcja energii elektrycznej na potrzeby własne obiektu. Celem strategicznym projektu jest upowszechnienie gospodarki niskoemisyjnej we wszystkich sektorach na rzecz poprawy bilansu energetycznego, natomiast celem bezpośrednim jest zwiększenie wykorzystania odnawialnych źródeł energii w Gminie Mielnik. Cele projektu wpisują się w Działanie 5.1 Energetyka oparta na odnawialnych źródłach energii, Osi Priorytetowej V. Gospodarka niskoemisyjna, tj.: zwiększenie udziału rozproszonej produkcji energii ze źródeł odnawialnych. Realizacja projektu pozwoli na osiągnięcie następujących wskaźników: a) na poziomie produktu: - Liczba wbudowanych jednostek wytwarzania energii elektrycznej z OZE – 1 szt., - Szacowany roczny spadek emisji gazów cieplarnianych (CI 34) – 8,87 tony równoważnika CO2, - Dodatkowa zdolność wytwarzania energii ze źródeł odnawialnych (CI) - 0,01 MW, b) na poziomie rezultatu: – Produkcja energii elektrycznej z nowo wybudowanych instalacji wykorzystujących OZE – 10,92 MWhe/rok, Termin realizacji projektu przewidziano od 28 sierpnia 2018 do 31 grudnia 2018 roku.
